McDan Dedicates 2024 CEO Awards To Hard Working Teams Of Workers
Dr Daniel McKorley, Executive Chairman of the McDan Group of companies has dedicated the CEO of the Year Awards he won at the 8th CEOs Summit held in Accra to workers of two sudsidiary companies of the conglomerate for their unwavering dedication and passion to duty.
According to him, success is not just the efforts of one person but a result of collaboration, hence the award was not about himself but the amazing teams at both companies.
The Ghanain business magnate was decorated with two distinguished awards, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Year in the Aviation Sector category which won with McDan Aviation, operators of Private Jet Charter and Fixed Base Operator (FBO) services and CEO of the Year, the Salt Sector category which he won with Electrochem Ghana Limited, operators of Africa’s largest Salt Mine and Processing Plant at the Ada Songor enclave in the Greater Accra region of Ghana.
Dr McKorley stated that the hard work and commitment of the workers are the reason behind the recognition and the several positives the two companies have achieved.
“Their hard work and commitment are the driving forces behind this award and the numerous other milestones we’ve achieved in the aviation and salt industries” he stated.
McDan as he is popularly known expressed this delightful sentiments and surprise recognition of the strides made in a facebook post on Wednesday May 29, 2024.
“What a delightful surprise to have been named the CEO of the Year [Aviation Sector-McDan Aviation] and CEO of the Year [Salt Sector-ElectroChem Ghana Ltd] at the 8th Ghana CEO Ghana Awards!
The recognition of my work in these crucial industries means a great deal to me. Which is why it was truly humbling to receive the award in the presence of so many leaders, really giants, of our profession.
But no one achieves results alone. Success is always the result of collaboration. So, this award is not about me; it’s about the amazing teams we have at both companies.
